Just curious what everybody recommends as the best year for the e30 3-series (m3 excluded). My daily driver (93 maxima) is starting to have automatic transmission problems so I have to consider my options (i.e. either repair or replace). Since I already have a 97 M3, I figure some parts might be interchangeable (like wheels?), some tools the same, and most of the knowledge I have on e36 might.
